I've survived the worst part of the flu which of course struck over the weekend. I could do without all the phlegm and coughing though. The fact that I can't use any medication is a serious bummer. I can't even use Vicks vaporub. How bogus is that? I just sit around and watch everyone else feel better.
I've made it to the 12 week mark. This means that there is only 1 week left in the first trimester and I can start looking forward to feeling bright and shiny again. I'm tired of being tired. I forgot about how badly maternity jeans fall down. I've been pulling them up all day. How irritating. If I recall they don't get any better as the belly gets bigger. The baby should be the size of a lime by now. I have another ultrasound on the 6th of September and I'm looking forward to seeing the little one.
